We can’t get enough of the warm color and the rough, simple texture of burlap. Here are a few of our favorite uses for this classic work horse.
Our laptops and iPads would LOVE this burlap and fleece combo from Colocasac.com. So cute and so affordable.
Super easy table runner idea for an intimate party of four or a big affair for 40. And no worries when someone spills the red wine!
This just in! The new ‘Rivets’ Wallcovering from Phillip Jeffries. We love the contrast of the rough texture with the shiny, metal rivets.
We are partial to the natural brown color, but these colorful options from James Thompson could be really fun too.
We stopped by Urban Workroom, a local upholstery and drapery workroom in Chicago to see where the magic happens. Owner Julie Wozniak was re-upholstering a pair of wingback chairs with burlap coffee bags, similar to the chairs seen above. Results - awesome!
We came across these Burlap Drapery Panels trimmed with fringe from Ballard Designs. We love the way the light peeks through the loose weave and how the fancy fringe contrasts with the simple nature of the burlap.
Loving these burlap lamp shades from Pottery Barn.
Covering a throw pillow, wrapping that special gift, covering mat board for a framed photo or the back drop for a bulletin board. Whatever you can imagine, burlap has a place in your home.
